Sheilagh Flynn - Ceramic Tile Mosaics

Sheilagh Flynn operates an extensive clay studio in New Hampshire, where she creates mosaic wall artwork as well as functional pottery with organic shapes and artistic glazing.  Sheilagh’s humble nature is reflected in her work.  Following college and a degree in fine art, she fell in love with ceramics and spent many years learning and mastering her craft and the art of design.  Sheilagh’s work has become known for functional simplicity, elegant lines and colorful finishes. 

Growing up near the beach in South Shore Boston, the sea was a strong influence on her entire family, and Sheilagh's organic nature takes center stage with her ocean inspired designs.  The boldly graphic wall pieces are based on aerial photographs of land, textures from nature, both land and sea, and industrial patterning like wallpaper.
