Jason Belport - Photography

Jason Belport's love for the ocean and underwater photography began in the kelp beds off of La Jolla, and Southern California’s Channel Islands while attending college at San Diego State University. Receiving his scuba certification at the age of 12, Jason searched the world for a job in the dive industry where he could pursue his life long love with the sea and his photography, leading him to a small Islands in Caribbean. Since then, Jason has enjoyed a long career in the dive industry as a divemaster, instructor, dive shop manager, resort manager and overall manager of a resort group with multiple locations.
Jason Belport has captured many special moments and images in the Cayman Islands since 1996, and looks forward to the future in the sea with it's endless and amazing possibilities. Jason's images have been published in Sport Diver Magazine and Caribbean Travel and Life.
